KOLKATA, India – Narayana Hospital, Howrah, is set to host the Annual Pediatric Cardiology Conference on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The conference, a key event for medical professionals in the region, will take place at 6, Ballygunge Place, Ballygunge.
The full-day event will feature several sessions, including case presentations by PGTs (Postgraduate Trainees), and talks by leading pediatric cardiologists of Bengal . Dr. Amitabha Chattopadhyay and his team will be hosting this prestigious event.Various distinguished speakers will discuss various topics, such as the current state of pediatric cardiac services in Bengal and India and interesting case discussions.
Program Highlights 📋
The conference will also include two panel discussions. The first panel, moderated by Dr. Akhileshwar Narayan Choudhury, will focus on tackling pediatric cardiac emergencies in office practice, with panelists including Dr. Abhijit Sarkar, Dr. Sumita Basu, Dr. Anup Mangal, and Dr. Asha Mukherjee. The second panel, moderated by Dr. Anwesha Mukherjee, will discuss the current status of fetal echocardiography in India.
Hands-On Workshops & Activities 🩺
Attendees can participate in two workshops: “Echoing Around,” and “The Rate and the Rhythm”, led by experts such as Dr. Jayita Nandy Das, Dr. Rishika Mehta, and Dr. Anwesha Mukherjee. The event will also feature an open-to-all quiz on pediatric cardiology with attractive prizes for winners. Four CME credit hours will be available for participants.
